The Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (PMER) unit of the Myanmar Red Cross Society is dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness and impact of MRCS programs and initiatives as well as promoting Community Engagement and accountability (CEA).
Our mission is to ensure that MRCS operates with the highest level of accountability, transparency, and strategic alignment to serve vulnerable communities across Myanmar.
ObjectivesThe PMER unit has to do planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting as following objectives:
Strategic Planning
The PMER unit works to develop strategic plans that align with the mission and vision of MRCS.
Monitoring and Reporting
We are committed to real-time monitoring of MRCS activities and produce a range of reports.
Evaluation and Knowledge Management
The unit conducts rigorous evaluations of MRCS projects and programs and promotes knowledge management by gathering lessons learnt and best practices
Feedback Mechanism
We establish and function the central feedback mechanism at the head quarter that allows beneficiaries and communities to voice their concerns, suggestions, and feedback on all MRCS activities, contributing to more responsive and community-centered programming.
Capacity Building
It offers capacity-building support to MRCS staff and volunteers, equipping them with the necessary skills and tools for effective PMER and CEA.
