Myanmar Red Cross Society’s Health Strategy and Strategic Plan (2021-2025) aligns with its strategic goal (1), which focuses on enhancing community resilience through improved health and safety while reducing vulnerability to various hazards. Multiple health projects receive financial and technical support from partner Red Cross organizations, as well as from organizations like WHO and the UN. The initiative prioritizes disaster resilience and health promotion activities in specific regions, aiming to extend its coverage across the entire country.

Health promotion activities are a primary focus for Myanmar Red Cross Society, which is currently engaged in implementing 11 plans and projects in collaboration with various organizations including the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies(IFRC), International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), Norwegian Red Cross (NRC), Danish Red Cross (DRC), Finnish Red Cross (FRC), Swedish Red Cross (SRC), Austrian Red Cross (AuRC), Red Cross Society of China (RCSC), and Canadian Red Cross (CRC). These initiatives extend across 34 townships and are currently in progress.
